Overview

The UHZ series magnetic flap float level gauge uses a magnetic float as the measuring element and magnetically driven flaps for display, requiring no external power source. It is suitable for various environments, from low to high temperatures and vacuum to high pressure. It is an ideal level measurement product for industrial sectors such as petroleum and chemical industries.
The magnetic float level gauge can be equipped with upper and lower limit switch outputs for remote alarm and limit control. With a transmitter, it enables remote indication, detection, and control of liquid levels. Depending on the installation position on the container, it offers side-mounted and top-mounted options. Based on the medium, it is available in stainless steel and ABS engineering plastic materials; ABS is particularly suitable for corrosive media such as acids and alkalis.
The UHZ series magnetic flap float level gauge has the following structural features:
1. Basic Type
Based on the buoyancy principle, the float moves up and down with the liquid level in the measuring tube. The magnet inside the float drives the red and white flaps to flip 180 degrees. When the liquid level rises, the flaps turn from white to red; when it falls, they turn from red to white, thus indicating the liquid level.
2. Upper and Lower Limit Switch Output
The magnetic float moves with the liquid level, causing the reed switches installed at set positions on the level gauge's vertical tube to actuate, enabling on-off control or alarm functions.
3. Electrical Remote Transmission
A transmitter is installed on the magnetic float level gauge. The transmitter consists of a sensor and a converter. As the magnetic float moves up and down, it magnetically couples with the measuring elements inside the tube, causing sequential actuation and generating changes in resistance signals. These are converted into standard current signals of 0–10 or 4–20mA for connection with digital display instruments or computers, enabling remote display and control.
